About Us

Our mission is purely to share the secrets and aesthetic moments that girls (including us) throughout the city provide every day. We’re on a hunt to find the coolest hues in hair, the most radiant skin, the flyest nails, top-notch make-up and genuine beauty. We have no standard for what we call beautiful; you’ve created that standard all on your own.

xo,

Kim, Kat, Sam.

Name: Kimberly
Age: 23
Location: Zone A, NY
Beauty Style: I’m a mixologist maven! I often mix products to get the effect I want. Whether it be hair products, makeup, nail polishes, anything and everything!
I would never leave my house without… Blistex. Seriously. I’ll go back
home.
One thing I would never try: Bleaching my hair. It’s relaxed so it will
literally fall out in clumps until I’m completely bald. Not quite ambitious
enough for the Amber Rose look just yet…
Biggest Beauty Peeve: Oily skin/oily hair. Lots of people
have oily skin but most people with relaxed hair have the opposite issue, so my case is rare.
Beauty Secret Weapon: I mix Marc Jacob’s Dot and Daisy to create my signature scent.

Name: Katrina
Age: 23
Location: New Jersey (For the meantime)
Beauty Style: Drug store druggie who occasionally splurges on the finer things in life. Aveeno and L’oreal sulfate free products hold me down but when it comes to make up I can’t cut the cord with Mac.
I would never leave the house without…Carmex! My day wont go on without it (believe me, I’ve tried).
One thing I would never try: I’ll try anything once…unless it’s smelly.
Biggest Beauty Peeve: Dry hair aka finding the right product to keep my wavy curls on point (search is still on).
Beauty Secret Weapon: Raw African Shea Butter ($5!)

Name: Samantha
Age: 24
Location: New York, NY
Beauty Style:Β I have a few staples but I am always curious to try out new & different products, I will try anything once. Also, moisture is key for me.
I would never leave the house without… Lip balm and my brow pencil.
One thing I would never try: I stopped using hair gel during high school and never looked back. It’s not exactly healthy for my naturally curly hair (nor yours!). I prefer curl creams.
Biggest Beauty Peeve: It’s a tie between being inexperienced in eye makeup & hormonal breakouts.
Beauty Secret Weapon: Sunscreen.

I love that the asian girl has natural curly hair. Its rare to find asian girls with curls, so it’ll be great to see what she has to say about her maintance. Great job girls!
